Parichaya ko Pahunch
About the Project
Parichaya Ko Pahunch aimed to bridge the gap in educational access for children with physical disabilities in Nepal by creating making learning more accessible. The project focused on empowering educators, school management committees, and policymakers through training, resources, and awareness campaigns. Key activities included the development and distribution of a comprehensive handbook on inclusive education, training of teachers (ToT) across municipalities in Kailali, and the creation of a digital support platform to sustain engagement and learning. Additionally, the project organized sign language interpretation for Deaf participants, translated key materials for broader reach, and produced multimedia content to promote awareness. By addressing both infrastructural and attitudinal barriers, Parichaya Ko Pahunch strived to reduce stigma, foster inclusivity, and pave the way for long-term policy advocacy and systemic change.
Overall CEP Experience
500 teachers directly reached from 40+ schools.
The journey of Parichaya Ko Pahunch began with a deeply personal question: why are so many children with disabilities still left out of classrooms? From that question, our team came together with a shared vision to make inclusive education more than a policy promise, but a lived reality.Shift in education requires mindset, not just resources
